States of Brazil

The States of Brazil, or Estados, are the federal states of Brazil, plus the Federal District which holds the capital city, Brasília.

The twenty-six Estados are:

• Mato Grosso
• Mato Grosso do Sul
• Minas Gerais
• Pará
• Paraíba
• Paraná

• Rio Grande do Norte
• Rio Grande do Sul
• Rondônia
• Roraima
• Santa Catarina
• São Paulo
• Sergipe
• Tocantins

plus one extra federated unity,
